About the workshop
What do we do
when we dance?
Where is our attention? What is touch?
We will dive into the foundations and origins of Contact Improvisation together. By taking fundamental concepts apart, we begin with our relationship to ourselves and gravity, exploring the importance of solo dance in Contact Improvisation.
We will work with touch as a relational, informative and technical tool, building trust and clarity for dancing in duets and other group constellations.
Drawing on embryological and anatomical knowledge, Oliver invites a space that is soft and somatic, as well as wild and daring. The workshop is informed by their interpretation of and research with Skinner Releasing Technique® and BodyMindCentering®.
A playful, technical and soft workshop for all levels of Contact Improvisation practitioners.
